Drive Hitachi Class 800/801 Trains of the Future in Train Simulator 2015
In the development of Train Simulator 2015, Dovetail Games worked closely with train builders Hitachi Rail Europe Ltd to enable the highly accurate rest of their new 800/801 class trains.
Through the Intercity Express (IEP) program, Hitachi Rail Europe will provide new electric and bi-mode trains for the Great Western Main Line and the East Coast Main Line. They are expected to go into passenger service in 2018, but thanks to Train Simulator 2015, rail fan fans can jump right into their controls and start driving them.
Train Simulator 2015 will give players the chance to drive some of the most powerful high-speed trains in the world on three iconic routes from around the world.

Key product developments:
Train Simulator now includes the newly created TS Academy, a training area designed to quickly and easily introduce new players to the series. At TS Academy, players can experience all types of trains, as well as master different environments and learn the intricacies of trains and signaling systems. They can go from novice to pro, earning driver's licenses and awards along the way.
Train Simulator 2015 will launch on September 18, 2014 for PC and will be compatible with an existing range of over 100 additional locomotives and routes that allow fans the ability to customize their experience. Players can create and edit routes and scenarios and share them via the Steam Workshop.
