• Griftlands is a deck-like roguelike where you fight and negotiate across a broken sci-fi world.
• Every decision matters, whether it's the work you do, the friends you make, or the cards you collect. Death comes quickly, but each game offers new situations and strategies to explore.
• At this stage of development, you can play as either SAL or LOK, with a third character and campaign in development. SAL is an adventurer for profit and revenge.
• Rook is an aging spy working on his own agenda. Expect regular updates including new maps, quests and characters as we work on the game with community feedback!
• Battle Bosses - Test your battle decks against powerful enemies with unique mechanics and attacks.
• Create a team - or buy one! Hire mercenaries, find pets or impose on your friends to achieve your goals.
• Master of hundreds of cards - each character has unique negotiations and combat decks. Get powerful item cards from fallen enemies or as rewards.
• Decisions matter - killing opponents can incur the wrath of your friends, but sparing them leaves a dangerous piece on the board. Choose wisely, everyone remembers everything you do!
• Welcome to Havaria - each playable character's story takes place in a unique setting, with different factions and locations to explore and exploit.
• Explore the broken sci-fi world-world of Havaria. Explore a lush, illustrated hand-crafted environment full of people who want to kill you.
• Play Politics for Keeps - Each character has a factional allegiance and opinion of you. Play politics between rivals and try to capture the most powerful social riots. But beware - DoubleCross is not the right person and you will be subject to their curse!
• Refit or Overcome - Overcome obstacles with the power of your fists - or your words. You will need to choose your cards and play them correctly if you survive. Build two decks at the same time, balancing the compromises of each.
• Learn from each attempt to run through different dirt stories. Encounter different combinations of enemies, quests and events every time you play. Your destiny is determined by your choice and destiny.
